I understand that choosing a counsellor can feel overwhelming so I have made the process as simple as possible for you. First off, you can email me for an initial free chat, to see how I can help you. No obligations.  If you decide to go ahead, we will discuss a weekly time slot that works for you. Just so you know,  I practise psychodynamic therapy, which essentially helps you to understand how experiences in your  past can impact your life now. Eventually, with weekly therapy sessions, you will gain a new understanding of yourself. It’s a weekly commitment to yourself and your wellbeing.

How do I start the therapy process?

First things first arrange an informal chat.

If, after the chat, you decide to go ahead, we will arrange an initial session, which will last for 50 minutes. This time will allow us to meet – either online or in my lovely purpose built therapy rooms in Dalston Or Stoke Newington and figure out if we can both work together. During this time you can ask questions and decide if therapy with me is right for you. We will discuss what brought you to therapy as well as gain an understanding of your past experiences. If you decide to move forward with this, we will meet every week at a time to suit you.
